After 30 years of welcoming guests in our country house to discover a French American life style with “cours de cuisine et vins” Whats Cooking in France has moved to Bordeaux! After a hiatus while we shifted our lives from the countryside to the city, we’re back in the B&B business — assuming you can call it a business when the job entails greeting friends, both old and new! We look forward to sharing our new family home, having you enjoy its first-floor guest quarters, and taking time around the breakfast table to help you plan for your day. As always, we want to help you discover the French lifestyle and find the activities that fit your interests and the season’s options without having to sift through a guidebook. From opera to soccer, we can get your tickets; from artist studios to boutique shopping, we have all the good addresses. And whether you want to hunt mushrooms with an expert or simply enjoy eating them in one our favorite restaurants, we’ll point you in the right direction. Gourmands, we continue to offer private hands-on classes in French cuisine and have expanded the options to include making pastries and pâtés — all with local chefs, either in our home kitchen or in their own culinary laboratories. A bientôt !
